Boston VR is excited to announce we have SphereGen presenting their XR tech at Venture Cafe in Kendall Sq on August 17th. For those unfamiliar, SphereGen has an XR division working on some cutting edge apps in the med tech space. Ted Dinsmore, President of SphereGen Technologies, will be showcasing how the Healthcare Industry is embracing innovative technologies such as Mixed Reality, to improve patient outcomes. SphereGen is a software consulting firm that develops and supports custom solutions for clients in the U.S and Europe in the areas of Extended Reality, Application Modernization and RPA (Robotic Process Automation). Ted will be demonstrating how Mixed Reality is used in Remote Surgical Guidance between doctors in New York and Uganda, Patient Informed Consent using 3D models and medical device training in hospitals. Additionally, one of the demos includes an application that is currently available in the Oculus Store.
