Boston-area investor Kevin O’Leary, star of ABC’s “Shark Tank” TV show, offered up a few universal tips for entrepreneurs at a Boston event Wednesday.
O’Leary was the host of Brigham and Women’s Hospital’s “shark tank” competition, where eight scientists competed for cash prizes.
He said there are common threads among the entrepreneurs who pitch on the TV show and go on to receive funding.
