Enabling Healthy Aging with Advanced Technologies is a one-day event exploring the medical trends and innovations that are designed to support the aging population, with a specific focus on device and technology development. In a series of presentations and interactive panel discussions, representatives from the field of active aging, including medtech and gerontology, will address both the solutions and challenges for patients and healthcare providers. Speakers will also provide insight into device and technology development occurring at local companies and medical institutions, and offer perspectives on the economics of this field.
During this session, iHub’s Medical Director, Mark Zhang, DO, and other local experts will address why validating your digital health solution – whether for clinical or economic outcomes – can benefit your product; when in your journey to commercialization you should consider a pilot study or clinical trial to validate your product; and how to test your solution in a real-world setting. Attendees will leave with a better understanding of the digital health research process and how it can help their product stand out from the pack.
