Pitching Innovation

  • BEI Knowledge Center, Thorn Building 127 15 Francis Street Boston, MA 02120 United States (map)

Please note: This event is only for those within the Brigham community.

In the world of health and life sciences, knowing how to pitch your idea is a requisite for success. Whether you are sharing your concept with a potential collaborator, applying for a research grant, presenting to hospital leaders, or more, knowing how to effectively communicate your science is a needed skillset.

And pitching a completely innovative idea? That takes even more finesse. You may find yourself pitching in front of industry professionals, a panel of senior leaders, a seasoned reporter, a philanthropist or audience members of various professional backgrounds. How do you capture their attention and win over their hearts in just a few minutes?

Join members of the Brigham Digital Innovation Hub (iHub), the Brigham Care Redesign Incubator and Startup Program (BCRISP), the Brigham Education Institute, as well as members of the Brigham Office of Strategic Communication and Development Office to learn how to pitch your innovative idea memorably and effectively. Attendees will learn how to communicate about their projects and/or innovation to get audience buy-in, deliver the perfect pitch to the media, pitching best practices and how to overall better represent themselves as leader in their space.

Every idea needs a great pitch to succeed, so learn how to pitch yours, and register today.
