Research Connection Live Lunch: Creating an Infrastructure for Digital Health Innovation

The Brigham Digital Innovation Hub drives cutting-edge innovation within our institution and with external collaborators. The iHub-led Digital Health Innovation Guide (DHIG) creates a fast lane for innovators and disruptors to meet the necessary guidelines to accelerate the implementation and evaluation of digital health pilots. The DHIG toolkit enables innovators to predict and navigate the complex institutional processes which can often hinder pilots at an academic medical center.

Join Josie Elias, MBA, MPH of the Brigham Digital Innovation Hub and the Brigham Research Institute to learn more about the DHIG, and other ways iHub and the Brigham are aiming to be the collaborator of choice.

Please note: This event is for for those within the Brigham community only.

About the Speaker

Josie Elias, MBA, MPH
Program Manager, Digital Health Innovation

Josie Elias’ focus on technology design and usability arose from many years in small business and disaster response. As Program Manager for Digital Health Innovation, within the Brigham Digital Innovation Hub, she has the pleasure of working with innovators across Brigham Health to build and implement digital innovations from research apps, to indoor positioning, and to startup collaborations.

Elias believes that technology should be a tool for clinicians to simplify their work, And not the work itself. She brings over 20+ years of experience in business development, product design and manufacturing, as well as disaster response at both small and large organizations. Josie received her MBA from Cornell University and MPH from George Washington University. In her spare time, she is COML/ITSL for the FEMA Urban Search and Rescue system.
