Chen Cao is passionate about the impact digital health and innovation can have on the health outcomes of individuals and population. As the Innovation Analyst at Brigham and Women's Hospital Digital Innovation Hub, Chen analyzes trends and solutions in the digital health market, specifically how startups and vendors could help address priorities and challenges at Brigham and Women's Hospitals. He collaborates with clinicians and researchers to identify pain points and matches them to market-ready solutions. Chen holds a Master of Public Health and Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Boston University. While at BU, Chen focused on research, design, and implementation of mobile health (mHealth) projects in low-resource settings such as Tanzania and Kenya. He also interned at the World Health Organization, reviewing early warning and response networks (EWARN) of member states.
